OUR MISSION: To provide safe and loving homes for companion animals who would otherwise be destined for premature euthanasia at local shelters.
There are 45 cats and dogs for every person born. Only 1 out of 10 dogs born ever get a home. Only 1 out of 12 cats born ever find a home. 800 dogs & cats are KILLED each HOUR in the U.S, because there are not enough homes for them. Opt to adopt. Don't buy-especially from a pet store!

We adopted Shadow in January and she is so much fun and fits in with our family very well. Her favorite toy is “Da Bird” and she loves her bed. She gets along great with our dog Samantha. She is the sweetest cat and loves to talk for her food. Thanks so much for letting us adopt her. We just love her. I attached is a picture of her.
Thanks, The Romano Family
We received this wonderful email and picture from Amanda "I love following and seeing all the great things SOS does on Facebook, you guys are amazing! Anne and Cooper are doing awesome. They love each other so much and we are going to buy everything to put up a fence for them today so they can run. :) I attached a photo of Anne and Cooper!". Do you remember Anne she was one of the pups left in a barn in Wayne County without their mom at 4 weeks old. Her brother Copper, PKA Bosley is from the litter of nine out of Zanesville. Thanks for the update Amanda.

A Huge Thank You...
A HUGE thank you goes out to the Material Girls Quilt Guild. They made beds for the animals. The beds are awesome, as you can see from the picture they are a big hit. In the picture is Bradley (recently adopted), as soon as the bed it the floor he jumped right on it. The beds are much appreciated and will be put to good use. Again, THANK YOU so much for thinking about the animals and helping SOS.
In Memory of Will.....
Our families mourn the loss of a wonderful animal rescue supporter as well as Marine and all around good soul. Will Risebrook has been a volunteer and animal rescuer for years. Married to his beautiful bride of 60 years this year, Bev and Will were adopters and great supporters. Bev designated us as the memorial remembrance. We really wish it was not under these circumstances. RIP Will Risebrook. I have no doubt your Scotties and kittens are all there and welcomed you with kisses. You were one of a kind, and will be missed. Please keep his family in your prayers and thoughts. Sandy C.
In loving memory of Will Risebrook who loved all animals big and small

The only way to stop 3.7 million needless deaths is to stop overpopulation. Spaying and neutering is the best & most humane method. Here is a link to some affordable spay/neuter programs.
