9 Abandoned Cats Update - Woody & Larry get a home - together!
Remember the 9 abandoned cats we helped save last fall? Larry was one of 4 of those siblings who came to my home as they were the sickest ones. 6 months later, my kitties were hoping he would get to stay as was I. Woody, found in a woodpile (hence the name) was rescued with his buddy, Al, on a bitter cold day in Jan. by one of our foster’s sons. Woody came to stay with us when they went on vacation, and Larry and my own Bowie (see picture) adopted him. They would play and chase each other all over then cuddle, watch birds, try to help mom with the computer by laying on her desk.
Adult cats are our toughest to place. Everyone always wants the babies. Well, our prayers were answered when Cricket met them. We got to showcase our adoptables at a Volunteer Showcase at Westfield, and it was love at first sight. Woody and Larry were cuddled up in a kitty bed when she saw them. They got to go to their forever home together…it doesn’t get any sweeter than that! Thank you Cricket for opening your home and heart to 2 awesome souls!
