Unfortunately we have another sad story about a sweet, innocent, and in this case very ill little girl discarded like trash, left in a parking lot. Tia was found in a box with her eye protruding from her sweet little face at closing time for a store. While we normally rescue from the shelters, we sometimes have no choice but to do the right thing.
Tara Centea, who had just spent 30 + hours already on our behalf this week, as well as fostering Redford, Charlie and Howie (3 high energy dogs), dropped her Fri. evening to go get this little girl, clean her up and assess the problem. Tara proceeded to get a sleepless night as this pup is only 6-8 weeks old, BUT already special and smart
enough to bark when she needed to go out and go potty! She was obviously in pain but so grateful for Tara’s loving touch. She captures the hearts of all who meet her!
Sadly, she had to have the eye removed. This baby has gone through much more than most of our beloved pets will ever have to face. We are thrilled to be able to help save this precious life thanks to your support and to AMAZING volunteers like Tara, who no matter
how long the day, or how tired she might be, she still manages to find a way to keep giving and make a difference for so many souls.
AS I FINISH THIS NEWSLETTER, I HAVE GREAT NEWS! Tia did wonderfully after surgery and gets to go to her AMAZING new forever home in just two more weeks! LIVE LONG AND WELL, LITTLE TIA!!!!!
